I have the most up-to-date known decision release dates or projected release dates based on the previous application cycle posted here. Between that and the ongoing pandemic, I anticipate the decision timeline may deviate from last year.
You will receive an email from each campus when the decision becomes available occasionally there may be a delay between when the decision becomes available and when the email goes out. Some UC campuses may state the decision within the email, while others will require you to log into the applicant portal to check the admission decision.

When is UC Davis announcing their decisions this year, does anyone have any information about that? I think the UCs are over-correcting for the huge increase in applications and they are not doing a great job with the enrollment management process.
Whether you come off the waitlist depends on how many admitted students will choose to enroll and how many empty seats are left open. Can you explain or elaborate further on what you mean by over correcting? I am new to this process. UCs have been making very conservative number of offers upfront and placing really large number of students on waitlist, in an attempt to prevent over-enrollment there is a whole backstory about that. My guess is the UCs made even smaller number of offers this year and put an even larger number of students on waitlist.
